These terms apply to purchases of Money Skills Playbook from Build Money Skills at buildmoneyskills.com.

The product

Money Skills Playbook is a 48-page English-language digital PDF containing beginner educational material, practical frameworks and exercises.

It is a digital product. No physical book is shipped.

Some examples in the playbook use euros, but the frameworks and exercises can be applied using other currencies.

You need an internet connection to obtain the download and a device or application capable of opening PDF files.

Orders, prices and payment

The product page and checkout display the current selling price and applicable currency.

Any taxes and the total amount payable will be shown before you complete your purchase where applicable.

Payment is a one-time payment. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.

You must provide accurate order information and use a payment method you are authorized to use.

We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, payment failure, technical error or misuse of the store. If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.

At launch, the product is primarily offered to customers in Canada, excluding Quebec, subject to the locations available through checkout. We may make the product available in additional regions in the future.

Digital delivery

Digital access is provided after successful payment through the download service connected to your Shopify order.

A download link is also sent to the email address you provide during checkout.

Please check that your email address is correct before completing your purchase and keep your order confirmation.

If you do not receive access, receive the wrong file or experience a problem with the download, contact support@buildmoneyskills.com so we can investigate and help resolve the issue.

Personal-use licence

Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, keep and read Money Skills Playbook for your own personal use.

You may keep a reasonable personal backup and print a copy for your own use.

Copyright, trademarks and other intellectual-property rights in the product and related materials remain with Build Money Skills and/or its licensors.

You may not, except where applicable law permits:

  • resell or commercially redistribute the PDF;
  • publicly upload or publish the PDF;
  • share your download link with others;
  • reproduce or distribute substantial parts of the product for commercial purposes; or
  • represent the product or its content as your own.

You are free to apply the skills, ideas and methods you learn from the playbook in your own life and work.

Educational content and outcomes

Money Skills Playbook provides general educational information.

It is not personalized financial, investment, legal, tax or career advice and does not create an adviser-client relationship.

Examples, exercises and scenarios are illustrative.

We do not promise or guarantee any particular level of income, savings, employment, business success or other financial outcome.

Results depend on factors including your circumstances, decisions, skills, effort, consistency and market conditions.

Seek appropriate qualified professional advice where your situation requires it.

Cancellations and refunds

Our Refund Policy explains change-of-mind requests, duplicate charges, missing downloads and faulty files.

The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy removes or restricts any mandatory consumer cancellation, refund or other rights that apply to you.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. 

Shopify and relevant payment and digital-delivery providers help us operate the store, process payments and deliver purchases.

Links to third-party websites or resources may be provided for convenience. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not control those third-party services and do not guarantee their continued availability or accuracy.

Responsibility and consumer protection

You remain responsible for decisions you make based on the educational material.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, warranty, remedy, right to bring a claim or other consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where mandatory consumer law conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory legal protection will apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time for future purchases.

The current version will be published on buildmoneyskills.com together with its effective date.

Changes will not retrospectively reduce rights that already apply to a completed purchase.
